Sale of Hospital Scrap Assets
Muhimbili National Hospital – Mloganzila wishes to inform members of the public that it will be disposing of used equipment through a public auction. The exercise will be conducted and supervised by a Government Auctioneer.
Items for Sale
- UPS batteries — a total of 574 units.
- Scrap materials arising from building renovation works.

Terms and Conditions
- All items will be sold on an as-is, where-is basis.
- The successful bidder must pay the full value (100%) of the purchased items immediately.
- All payments shall be made through the Government’s electronic payment system.
- Viewing of the items will be permitted one (1) day before the auction date, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM.
- The auction will commence promptly at 10:00 AM.

Sale of Used Hospital Assets
Muhimbili National Hospital – Mloganzila announced that a public auction was held on 07 December 2024 (Saturday) at 10:30 AM, at Muhimbili National Hospital – Mloganzila, for the sale of various used assets, namely:
Items for Sale
- Various office equipment and other assets, including air conditioners, electrical fittings, scrap metal, desks, wooden door frames, steel door frames, windows, and many other items.
- Equipment for various hospital uses.
Terms and Conditions
- Buyers were required to pay the full agreed price on the day of the auction for all items purchased below one million shillings (1,000,000/=). For items sold above one million shillings, buyers could pay the full amount at once, or pay twenty-five percent (25%) on the day of the auction with the remaining balance due within fourteen (14) days.
- Items were available for inspection on Thursday, 05 December 2024, from 10:00 AM, or on the day of the auction. Inspection-related costs, such as transport, were the buyer’s responsibility.
- Buyers were permitted to collect items only after completing all outstanding payments.
